My Thirtieth Year: 19

Today is a day of catch-up. I've got such a long list of things to accomplish... and have been so waylaid by illness and insomnia that I feel as though I am sinking under the weight of my To-Do lists. But the frantic feeling of "hurry up, be productive, accomplish, accomplish" reminds me of the purpose of some of these posts: to pay attention to the world, to stop for a moment and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Some days are meant to full of frantic accomplishment, be it major tasks or menial chores... and some days are meant for a relaxed pace. In either one, I'd like to have an eye out for detail, for joy and beauty. Frantic doesn't mean I have to be blind, relaxed doesn't mean I have to be lazy.
