Some one from my seminary Hebrew class posted this picture from Facebook... there's a story behind the grim, snowy picture. Our Hebrew prof really loves the story of Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance expedition. Go read about it... but the Endurance became the theme and symbol of our summer of Hebrew, our professor pledging to not leave any of us behind. I often say that I worked harder for my grades in that class than in most. I wanted to work hard and do my best... and here we are at the end. What memories!
