My Thirtieth Year: 43

O LORD, my heart is not lifted up;
my eyes are not raise too high;
I do not occupy myself with things
too great and too marvelous for me.
But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child is my soul within me.

O Israel, hope in the LORD
from this time forth and forevermore.

aw, look at that. I posted that on FB tonight. One of my favorite psalms, and I wish/strive/pray that it was more true more of the time in my heart. (also, have you heard Waterdeep's musical version?) Thanks for posting. And blogging. And being a good movie/lunch buddy.
