These are just some thoughts... and I am working on getting back to my novel! Life gets busy in August and September, as you can tell by the absence of any blogging. But now that my brain is back into a schedule, it is making more room for creativity.

Tonight would be the night/to speak the tales/of death and life.
Speak the tales/keep me awake to see the morning light.
Tonight would be the night/to touch my heart/and claim it for your own.
Touch my heart/keep me awake to see the morning light.
Tonight would be the night/to give me dreams/that flit between sleep and dawn.
Give me dreams/keep me awake to see the morning light.
