
As seen below, this is past of my "Twelve Things and Ten Things" list. Nathan Coulter is Berry's first novel about the fictional Port William, KY. I'm about halfway through this slim novel, but delighting in Berry's tight phrasing and beautiful prose.
Additionally, I have been reading some eassys: I found this post on the Ref21 blog, a treatment of C. S. Lewis' essay of the same name. I had to track down the essay, found in Christian Reflections and enjoyed the essay. I need to read them both again to better understand the arguments.
